THE POWER OF THE I
THERE IS ONLY ONE REAL "I" If there is only one real "I" then whatever we are wishing for others we are wishing for ourselves. This is how our subconscious interprets what we say of others. For example, if we say: "I wish so and so woul fail.", our subconscious interprets it as "I wish I would fail." It will then create failure in our own life. In contrast, if we say "I wish that so and so will become prosperous and wealthy in whatever he does," our subconscious will attract more abundance into our life. This means that when we pray for others, we are also praying for our own self. THERE ARE MANY FALSE "I"S Once again we must distinguish between our real will and our egotistical desires. Our real "I" is unique and real but our ego or false "I" is fragmented and false. Our real "I" is founded on Truth and Love while our ego is based on lies and negativity. Our real "I" is universal while our ego is personal. Our real "I" considers others as its own self while our ego affirms itself by negating and resisting others. Our real "I" has real power while our ego is powerless. Our real "I" is silent while our ego makes a lot of noise. Our real "I" does very little and accomplishes everything while our ego does many things but accomplishes nothing. Our ego only creates more problems. Our real "I" is creative while our ego is competitive. THE POWER OF REAL AFFIRMATIONS We can understand now why affirmations work for some people and not for others. For an affirmation to work or have power it must come from our real "I." In other words, we must understand it and really believe it. If our ego says "I am wealthy!", our real "I" knows that it is not true and our subconscious will not execute the command. However, if we say it from our deepest self or our real "I", our subconscious will obey and create abundance in our life. If we want affirmations to work, we must become wise, useful and loving. This is how we become our real "I." When we reach our real "I", we attain the certainty of faith and every affirmation we make becomes a reality. |
