THE UNIVERSE IS SUBJECTIVE AND PROJECTIVE

Most human beings believe that the universe is objective but the Truth is that the universe is subjective and projective.

What does that mean exactly?
 
It means that the universe is not experienced by every being in the same way.

Reality itself is beautiful, true and kind. But the reality that a person experiences is a projection of his subjective loves and beliefs.

Our life and circumstances are a projection of our state of being or consciousness.

This explains why, to some persons, the universe seems a terrible and senseless place while, to others, it appears beautiful and meaningful. 

The fact is that it is our subjective loves and beliefs that mold the reality of our life, the people we meet, and the circumstances we encounter.

If you are experiencing a cruel and meaningless universe, it is only because your loves and beliefs are false.

Change your loves and beliefs and your life and the universe will be transformed in accordance with your new state of mind.

When we identify with these personal likes, dislikes, beliefs and opinions, we spend most of our time and energy defending them and attacking others. This is literally a waste of time and energy.

                   
THE NATURE OF THE PERSONAL EGO

The creation of personality or natural ego is a necessary stage in the process of human psychological development.

But, we can become completely identified with our personal ego and disconnected from reality or "I AM" (pure Awareness, beyond thoughts).

When this happens, the false ego takes over our life and we feel trapped, confused and miserable.  

If we want to be liberated, we must render our personal ego passive so that we can receive Love and Truth from "I AM."

But, first, we must understand and recognize the difference between our false ego and reality.

The personal ego is a negative entity that derives its existence from resisting the present Reality.

The way we keep our personal ego alive is by lying to ourselves.

The ego is self-righteous; it would rather remain in hell than admit it is wrong.

Since it is a false identity; the ego must constantly defend itself and attack others.

The ego loves suffering. Through self-righteousness, it suffers and causes others to suffer. Resentment becomes guilt and shame.

The ego is proud and arrogant.

The ego boasts about its own power (although it has none). "I can of mine own self do nothing." John 5:30

The ego lies to justify itself.

The ego hides its vices and faults by projecting them onto others. The faults that we find annoying in others are really within us. They annoy us because they resonate within our own being.  

The ego resists the reality of the present and lives in the illusion of the past and future.

The ego WANTS separation, control, security and approval.

The ego FEARS losing separation, control, security and approval.

The ego loves itself above all others.

The ego wants to be glorified and praised. 

The ego is loud and seeks attention.

The ego affirms itself by degrading others.

The ego is impatient, impulsive, envious, jealous, fearful, greedy, resentful and angry.

The ego threatens, judges and accuses.

The ego persecutes and tries to destroy what it cannot understand.

The ego fixes problems by creating more problems.

The ego is self-destructive.

The ego is the source of all fear , want and suffering.

Dissolve your ego in selflessness, creativity and usefulness, and all fear, want and suffering will disappear.

               BIG EGO = BIG PROBLEMS
          SMALL EGO = SMALL PROBLEMS
                NO EGO = NO PROBLEMS

 HOW TO DISSOLVE THE EGO/PERSONALITY

The more we realize that we are just an empty vessel that can receive the Love and Truth of God, the closer we are to Reality and the more contented we  become.

Your self is not separated from the world. In fact, the world that you experience is your own reflection. So, stop fighting with your own reflection.

Remember this Truth: "I love ALL because I AM All."

If "I AM All", then there is no reason to defend or attack.

Become non-resistant to the world and others. Whatever you resist persists in your reality because you are giving it your energy.

Accept everything and resist nothing.

Accept everyone and resist no-one.

If anyone attacks you psychologically, "Be Still" and do not defend yourself or retaliate. These attacks are just reflections from your past behavior. If you continue to "Be still", these reflections will eventually cease and no one will ever attack you again. If you keep sending out Love, Love will reflect back to you.

Stop judging and labeling things, events and people as good or bad. Everything is being itself. And all being is God.

Release your personal opinions, judgments, likes and dislikes.

Surrender to what is happening now.

Forgive yourself and others.

Take no thought for your life. Surrender your life to its Source, which is Omnipresence, Omnipotence and Omniscience.

Surrender wanting to control. Infinite Spirit is in control.

Surrender wanting the approval of others. Your self-worth comes from your own BEING [Awareness/Love], not from the opinion of others. Remain centered in your own Being. The only Reality is Consciousness/Love. So have no attachments or aversions to anything or anyone. All outer forms are fleeting and temporal. But Consciousness/Love is eternal and constant. 

What is happening to you now is the will of God. It is there to teach you something about yourself. All problems are opportunities to grow spiritually. And all problems must be solved in consciousness. Remember, in Truth, there are no problems. You see a problem because you are not seeing the Truth. Consciousness/Love is the source of your health, supply and happiness. Surrender to the will of God. It is useless to struggle against the current of Universal Life.

WHAT IS PRAYER?

To pray is to be connected to Heaven. When we live according to Truth and Good, we are in constant prayer.

We must understand that Love and Wisdom are like rays of Light that are always shining upon us. God is never witholding any Good from us. It is we who are obstructing these rays by our fear, want, selfishness, self-righteousness and resentment. We must open the doors of our heart and mind through forgiveness, surrender and acceptance. 

God is OMNISCIENT. So, in fact, prayer is not telling God [consciousness] what we want. God already knows everything. It is to be still and receptive to the fields of Love and Wisdom.

God is OMNIPRESENT. Release the fear and remember that God [consciousness] is always present with you, anywhere, anytime.

God is OMNIPOTENT. Release the want and remember that God [consciousness/love] is the source of your health and supply. And God is the ONE and only power. Germs, disease and poverty have no power. We give these effects power through fear. When we are in Love and Awareness, nothing has the power to harm us.

Praying is remembering that God [consciousness] is the source of our health and supply. If we have the substance of Love within us, we are healed. Consciousness/Love is the substance of all form.

                 AS FAITH GROWS, FEAR DISAPPEARS

Fear is an egotistical prison. The only way to free ourselves from fear is by Love and Faith. Love is freedom. "Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty..."

Divine Love and Wisdom are the warmth and Light of Heaven.

Close your eyes and imagine your body filled with warmth and glowing light, and repeat this affirmation:

Divine Love now dissolves and dissipates every wrong condition in my mind, body and affairs. Divine Love is the most powerful chemical in the universe, and dissolves everything which is not of itself!
 
Doubts and fears will begin to rise from your subconscious mind. Do not deny them but accept them for now.

These are your only enemies. But remember that the Lord said that we should love our enemies.

By understanding that they are founded on falsehoods and loving them, our doubts and fears begin to dissolve.

Doubts and fears always use physical appearances to justify themselves.

But remember that all corrupted physical appearances have their roots in corrupted loves and false beliefs.

When these roots will have been destroyed and replaced, physical appearances and circumstances will change.

What you are doing is replacing your fears and doubts with faith in the divine power of Love and Wisdom.

Forget and ignore your present circumstances and repeat this procedure every day until all fears and doubts are completely dissolved and replaced by faith.

Unrighteous conditions cannot subsist in a being whose heart and mind are filled with the faith of Divine Love and Wisdom.

All faith is founded on the understanding of UNIVERSAL TRUTHS; these Truths are the heart of all religions.

And your subconscious becomes convinced by seeing the Truth manifested.

"BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD."

The only belief which is of any value to anyone is a belief that has been put to a test and demonstrated to be a fact; it is then no longer a belief, but has become a living Faith or Truth. (Charles Haanel)
