HEALING LAWS God is all Light, Awareness, Love, Truth, Peace, Beauty and Harmony. God creates the universe in order to realize Divine Love which is His Life. The only way he could realize His Love was by creating beings to Love. Real Love cannot love itself; it can only delight in the joy of another. This means that it is impossible to love our own self. We can only realize Love by loving others and our spiritual Father, who is present within us. Love is the relationship between the Father [consciousness] and the Son. If we want to receive love, we must give it to others. The ultimate destiny of human beings is to become creative, selfless, useful and loving. Those human beings who realize their destiny ultimately create a harmonious spiritual body that can be conjoined with the Lord as part of a society of angels in Heaven. The law of human freedom Love is synonymous with freedom. We can only love freely and willingly. Otherwise, it would not be love. This means that human beings also have the freedom not to love; they can choose to remain selfish and ignorant. God is all Light or pure awareness. But God created and creates Light and darkness. The creative power of God flows through every human being and it creates. Although they may not be aware of it, human beings are creating their life through their thoughts, internal dialog, feelings, desires and beliefs. Human beings have the freedom of will. They can choose to be creative, useful and loving to others and the Lord or to love themselves and the vanities of the world. They can choose to realize Truth and Goodness or to fulfill their egotistical desires. This choice determines their state of consciousness and their fate in the spiritual world of Mind. The Truth is that love of self is an illusion and the fulfillment of egotistical desires ultimately leads to suffering. If we choose to be selfish, we are lying to ourselves and believing what is false.
God creates the universe to realize his essence, which is Love. Love, or formless substance, first expresses itself as spiritual form or Truth. Truth becomes the thought-forms in the mind of God or the spiritual heavens. These are the various species of mineral, vegetable, animal and human being. In the material world, Love is then put into effect as the Law of use. Every being must be of use to the universe. This is how Love returns to God by means of the joy that uses bring. The Law of Giving and Re-Giving "If you wish to obtain supreme happiness, live your life through the wonderful and divinely inspired act of giving and re-giving. Always give because you are filled with the Light and Love of Yahweh and not because you expect anything in return. However, by law, the Cosmos must always re-give in return something that is equal to or greater in value than that which you gave to it. Since you did not require that anything had to be given back to you in return for what you gave, God the Cosmos was left free and unconstrained to not only choose the thing that it desired to return to you, but also the manner with which it is returned to you. Since God the Cosmos is most intimately acquainted with you, it will always return to you those things which will satisfy your profound needs, and meet your most urgent requirements!" Dr. Henry and Erica Monteith In heaven, all our real intentions, thoughts and emotions can be clearly seen by angels and the Lord. It is therefore useless to lie to ourselves and others about our real intentions, beliefs, thoughts and feelings. We can pretend to be good but the Lord can see who we really are. Like the heart and lungs, Goodness and Truth as well as evil and falsehood are interdependent. What we love and believe must always correspond. If we love creativity, uses, others and the Lord more than our own self, we are in Truth while, if we love our own self, the world, competition, misuse and abuse, we must be in falsehood, lies, illusions and fantasies. The only way we can justify our selfishness, self-righteousness and vanity is by lying to ourselves and others. Egotistical desires are a source of suffering. But dreams, visions and ideals are a source of joy, meaning and purpose. Real joy, love, health and wealth are the byproducts of a creative, useful, loving and holy life. Joy and love are already within us. When we project this happiness outside of us and begin to desire to possess the whole world, we create our own misery.The law of purity We cannot receive the blessings of Heaven if we do not intend to live a pure, meek, grateful, giving and forgiving life. Engaging in condemnation, lust, anger, envy, gluttony, sloth, pride, greed and arrogance prevents Divine Good and Truth from flowing into our being and healing our life. All thoughts, words, intentions, feelings, beliefs and actions are seeds. These seeds grow with time and we reap their consequences. What you believe, think, feel, say, intend and do about others, you are ultimately believing, thinking, saying and doing to your own self. You must continually watch what you believe, think, feel, say and do. Your thoughts, feelings and words must be kind and true while your desires, intentions and actions must be sincere, and pure. Do not confuse a person's real self with his natural ego. There is a spark of Divine Substance within every human being. In some persons, this spark of spiritual Light is obscured by a big ego. Although they may appear to be crude on the outside, deep within themselves, these persons are suffering. The law of non-resistanceWhat you resist persists. By resisting things, we attract them because we are continually giving them our attention. If you want an easy and effortless life, you must become completely non-resistant. Don't resist not having enough money. Don't resist being ill. Don't resist having bad relationships. Relax in the omnipresence, omnipotence and omniscience of God. God or Awareness is the only power. By resisting something, we are giving it power through attention. If you are inspired to realize an idea that will be useful to others, you should follow your inspiration. If an idea is not useful, it cannot be good nor originate from heaven. Ignore all selfish, useless and meaningless ideas.
The law of association Quimby said: "Our minds mingle." And we are automatically influenced by the spheres with which we associate.Therefore we should not associate for long with beings who do not believe what is true and do what is Good. If we continue to associate with them, they will ultimately drag us into their negative spheres of fear and we will lose our faith. The law of resonanceEverything in the universe is a vibration. And all vibrations that are of similar frequency combine constructively or resonate. If we have two tuning forks of the same frequency and we make one of them vibrate, the other one will vibrate by itself. Our own being is a wave function that has a principal or key frequency. It resonates or combines with worlds and beings of similar frequency. The law of attractionIf our intentions, beliefs, thoughts and words are creating our life, then we are attracting everything that is happening to us by what we intend, believe, think and say. The universe gives us more of what we are sending through the law of resonance or sympathetic vibration. Whether it is conscious and deliberate or unconscious, every belief, intention, thought, feeling and word that is emitted by our being is drawing more waves of similar frequency. The laws of involution and evolution Divine Love is eternally being realized through involution and evolution. The Word of God involves into spiritual spheres, galaxies, stars, planets and earths. And then it evolves through minerals, plants, animals and human beings. Truth and Love are then returned to God through the joy that uses bring. Minerals are useful to plants, plants are useful to animals, animals are useful to man. And man becomes useful to God when he realizes Truth and Love. Evolution is growth or expansion, while involution is decay or contraction. God continues to evolve or expand by contracting and creating new worlds and beings. The combination of expansion and contraction results in vibration. This is why everything is vibrating in the universe. Decay is as important as growth. For example, old cells in our body must die so that new cells can be born. In order to rise into a new or higher state of consciousness, our old state of consciousness must decay and die. Creation and evolution are occuring simultaneously in every being. Every being is manifesting its inherent potential. The creator and its creation are always One. Now, since God's potential is infinite, we are always witnessing a myriad of possible states being manifested in existence. These states range from spiritual darkness to Infinite spiritual Light. Therefore, there is no reason to judge anything or anyone because every being is simple manifesting the Glory of God. The Law of AssumptionImagination creates reality. Your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between physical reality and imagined reality. Any image, regardless of whether it is factual or imagined, that falls into your subconscious mind and is felt with conviction will begin to sprout, grow and ultimately be manifested in your outer world. This means that you can change your circumstances by merely imagining the circumstance you desire and believing it to be true. Take your attention away from your outer circumstances, imagine your beautiful vision or ideal, believe in it and it will eventually be manifested in your world.
The Lord has given us our body to be creative, useful and loving to others. If we do not use our body for its intended purpose, the body will lose its connection with Heaven and we will develop illnesses. Our body is the physical manifestation of our soul. Our heart corresponds to our will and our lungs to our understanding. If we want to have a strong heart and powerful lungs, we must will what is Good and believe and understand what is True. God said: "Son, all that is mine is thine..." The whole universe is for our common use and enjoyment. But we have no right to personally possess anything because the universe is God in manifestation. What is the use of wealth if it does not bring any joy? The Lord said that all the riches of this world are worth nothing. All those who are spending their energy to acquire and possess the power and glory of this world are wasting their time on Earth. The true riches are the Love and Wisdom of the Lord which remain eternally in our soul. All true wealth is the manifestation of an abundant, giving and forgiving state of consciousness. We have an invisible and infinite supply in consciousness. But how do we realize this supply? Our personal ego is in a state of want. If we release the want, we will return to the abundance of our true self. And then this spiritual abundance will automatically manifest itself in our outward life. The purpose of our life on earth is to learn to be creative, to live with others, love them and be useful to them. Each one of us has been given a unique talent that can be of use to others on Earth as well as in Heaven. When we love others and what we do, we are in tune with the Infinite Source of Life and Goodness.To understand and realize our true purpose prevents us from drifting into spheres of meaninglessness, fear, misuse, abuse and illness. We must always keep our purpose in mind. God created the universe to realize or express Love. So, each one of us can do His Will in our own unique way.
The law of expectation What we love and believe determines what we are. And what we are determines what we expect. If we expect the world to be cruel, it will be. If we expect the people in our world to be mean and annoying, they will be.There is no such thing as an objective world. We are creating our world by what we love and believe to be true. The universe is infinite. It is as great and good as you can imagine and believe it to be. God is infinitely Good. Believe in what is Beautiful, True and Good and expect it to be manifested in your world and life. And it will be. The law of grace and forgiveness You can neutralize your false beliefs, thoughts and actions by acknowledging your selfish behavior and forgiving yourself and others. If you want to be forgiven by the Lord, you must forgive others. By not forgiving others, you close your heart and prevent the Divine Love and Wisdom from reaching the depth of your being and healing you. The law of grace is a law that transcends Justice because it emanates from God himself. At the level of God, every transgression is already forgiven. God only sees Good in his creation. If we want all our past transgressions of the Law to be forgiven, we must forgive everyone. How can we do this? Can we really even forgive those selfish dictators, child molestors and cruel murderers? Is God unjust? When we awaken, we understand that the universe is a play and all human beings are acting out a certain part. Darkness only exists to manifest the glory or infinite Light of God. When we forgive everyone, we become completely free. The law of gratitude God created the world and its beings in order to realize his Goodness. All blessings originate in Heaven and ultimately are manifested on Earth. People and circumstances are simply the instruments through which these blessings are manifested. If anything Good happens in your life, you should thank the Lord so that the flow of Heavenly Blessings continues. The blessings can only flow into a grateful and loving heart. The Law of Allowing We receive all the Good and abundance that is coming to us by allowing it into our being and life. This is accomplished by faith, forgiveness and gratitude. To receive Divine Love and Wisdom, our heart and mind must be open at all times. This also means that we should allow others to be, have and do whatever they desire. We are only responsible for our own life. When we free others, we free our own self. |
